Other processor types

Almost every Android phone made since 2016 takes the file above. Use one of these only if that file won't install.

How to install

  1. Download the file

Tap Download for Android above. If Chrome warns that the file might be harmful, choose to download it anyway.

  2. Open it

Tap the notification when the download finishes, or find the file in your Download folder with the Files app.

  3. Allow installs from this source

Android asks once for the app that opened the file, such as Chrome or Files. Tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.

  4. Install TanoshiGo

Tap Install. If Play Protect warns that the app comes from outside the Play Store, tap More details, then Install anyway.

  5. Sign in

Open TanoshiGo and sign in with the account you use on the website. Your streak and cards are already there.

Updating the app

New versions appear on this page. Download the new file and install it over the old one without uninstalling.

One reinstall when we reach the Play Store

The store version can't install over this one, so uninstall it first. Your progress stays in your account and comes back when you sign in.
